Abstract

Leaders at Maine's colleges and universities, including UMaine system chancellor Dannel Malloy and Thomas College president Laurie Lachance express optimism about the state of higher education in Maine, which has embraced remote instruction and safely re-opened campuses after the pandemic shutdowns. They also feel that this year's graduates are resilient and will be competitive in a post-pandemic economy.
