Interview with Margaret Brownlee, the first diversity, equity, and inclusion officer at Maine College of Art & Design. Brownlee discusses how she got into working in higher education and explains that she defines diversity, equity and inclusion with three words: people, power, and perspectives. She also talks about growing up as a biracial person in Maine and what she hopes to accomplish in her job in her second year.
