Abstract

Bangor, a service center for health care and education with a population of around 32,000, is centrally located between more densely populated southern Maine, and more rural northern and eastern regions.
BangorHousing,a quasi-governmental agency that provides living space for low-to-moderate income households, has a portfolio of 846 affordable and market-rate apartments in 11 developments throughout Bangor.
