Abstract

More than a decade in the making, the Maine International Cold Storage Facility (20 West Commercial Street) marks a new chapter for Portland and Maine- just as the U.S. cold storage is taking off.
In 2017, researchers at the University of Southern Maine estimated the longterm economic impact of a cold storage warehouse at up to $900 million.
