Abstract

The newly-opened Maine Museum of Innovation, Learning, and Labor (Maine MILL) in a repurposed yarn mill on Lewiston's Beech Street, comprises more than 10,000 artifacts attesting to the city's history and industry. The museum was previously known as Museum Lewiston-Auburn, and was located in Lewiston's Bates Mill. The new location features larger galleries, classrooms, a design lab, a children's area, and an event space.
