Abstract

Letter to the editor from Portland Public Library Director Steve Podgajny, thanking the Island Times for Kevin Attra's coverage of the library's neighborhood meeting at Peaks Island on September 16. He corrected a public perception that the proposal to close the Reiche Branch last spring was made "summarily" and "overnight."
