Abstract
"Diverse-City" piece criticizing Gov. John Baldacci's plans to stimulate Maine's economy through biotechnology firms and biomedical research efforts. Because most Mainers are not qualified to work in these fields, there needs to be a focus on increasing higher education opportunities first.
