Abstract
"this just in" piece reporting that Congress Square Events will go on this summer, despite a funding scare that had Humongous Productions and the Portland Arts and Cultural Alliance (PACA) scrambling. The problem was remedied by a $10,000 grant from the Wallis Foundation of Los Angeles. Jack Baker, a part-time resident of Portland and director of the Wallis Foundation, was instrumental in keeping the series alive.
