Abstract

"this just in" piece recounting the author's stop at a DUI checkpoint in South Portland June 20 after a party at Casco Bay Books in Portland celebrating the release of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." The author consumed non-alcoholic butterbeer, and was subjected to a number of tests by Officer Patti Maynard. The breathalyzer results were "0.00."
