Abstract
"this just in" piece on a live-action re-enactment of the Battle of Helm's Deep from J. R. R. Tolkien's novel "The Two Towers," which is being organized by members of the USS Avalon, a Standish-based chapter of Starfleet International, a Star Trek fan club. The re-enactment is scheduled for sometime in summer of fall 2004.
