Abstract

"theater" piece on a production of "A Thousand Cranes," written by Kathryn Shultz Miller and directed by Pamela DiPasquale. The historical Kabuki play tells the story of Sadako Sasaki, a 12-year-old Hiroshima survivor, who attempts to fold 1,000 paper cranes to have her wish for peace and health granted by the gods. It is being presented at Children's Theatre of Maine, through April 18.
