"classical" piece on Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ's Halloween Silent Film Night, featuring Dennis James as guest artist. James is a well-traveled performer on the silent-film festival circuit and is dedicated to reviving public interest in silent films with live accompaniment. Halloween Silent Film Night is being presented at Merrill Auditorium in Portland, on Oct. 28.
