Abstract

"This Just In" piece on the antiwar demonstration held last weekend in Brunswick to counter the Blue Angels flying demonstration. Jack Bussell of Maine Veterans for Peace believes that Bush critic Cindy Sheehan backed out of her scheduled appearance due to interference from former Maine congressman Tom Andrews, something Andrews strongly denies. Bussell says Sheehan changed her mind after Andrews warned her that the Brunswick rally would appear "anti-base" in light of the ongoing base closure process.
