Abstract

"This Just In" piece with an update on plans to build a new skate park in Portland, noting that there are problems with the two sites currently under consideration. Development of a skate park at Harbor View Park is contingent upon permission from the Maine Department of Transportation , which has control of the area under the Casco Bay Bridge. Neighbors of Dougherty Park, the second area under consideration, are unhappy with the idea.
