Abstract

"Diverse-City" piece on Anthony Holloway, a finalist for the position of chief of the Portland Police Department. If selected, Holloway, who is black, would oversee a police force which currently has only one black officer. With comments on the lip service that is paid to minority issues, noting that the black community needs to do more to band together.
