Abstract
"Dinner + movie" piece on Portland's grocery stores, mentioning the recent closing of the Greengrocer and the end of the locally-owned Whole Grocer. Whole Grocer was purchased by the Whole Foods conglomerate, which plans a large complex off Franklin Arterial. Micucci's and Gillespie Farms remain good choices for local shoppers.
