Abstract
"This Just In" piece on Hip Hop Without Borders, which aims to eliminate hip hop stereotypes. Alex Steed, co-founder, said the group is working locally with The League (formerly the League of Pissed Off Voters) to promote activist awareness for social change. The League is throwing a party with local hip-hop artists, candidates for governor, slam-poets, and graffiti artists. "Reemergence" is being presented at the Portland Company Complex in Portland, on May 6.
