Abstract

"This Just In" piece with a review of "The Tombland's Tale," written and self-published by Ali Alavi. Alavi, an Iranian immigrant and University of Southern Maine graduate, sets the fictional thriller in Portland and Peaks Island. Alavi has also written three poetry collections in his native Persian.
