Abstract
"Classical" piece featuring an interview in question-and-answer format with Elliott Schwartz, who has been a composer, professor and musician in Maine for 43 years. "Evenings at the Piano," a 4-lecture series by Schwartz, is being presented at the Portland Conservatory through December 10. "Shaker Variations for Viola and Cello," composed by Schwartz and performed by Portland String Quartet, is being presented at Woodford's Congregational Church on October 21.
