Abstract

This weekend SPACE Gallery in Portland will host a "Food + Farm" event, in collaboration with the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, to examine access to sustainable food. Featuring an interview in question-and-answer format with: Roger Doiron, Scarborough resident and founder of Kitchen Gardeners International; Amanda Beal, president of the board of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association; David Buchanan of Slow Food USA; and Ian Cheney, one of the two main characters in the documentary film "King Corn."
