Abstract
The 26-room Harold M. Sewall House in Bath is listed for sale this summer at $795,000 through Legacy Properties/Sotheby's International Realty. Owner Camilla Sewall Wood's great grandfather, Arthur Sewall, gave the house to her grandparents Harold and Camilla Sewall as a wedding present in 1894. The mansion was donated to the Maine Maritime Museum in 1964, and Camilla Wood bought it back in 1987. With details on the home's architecture, its renovation by John Calvin Stevens, interior design by the legendary Addison Mizner of New York, its China Trade artifacts, and a genealogy of the accomplished Sewall family.
