Abstract
Laurence Gardner, his wife, and their 10 children--nine adopted--live in a home on Scarborough's Grondin Pond that was recently retrofitted with a tracking solar system. The five 10-foot vertical poles with ten photovoltaic panels on each pole aroused the ire of neighbors, though they are a legal use.
