Abstract

Interview with Louise A. Frechette, a Kennebunk artist who paints on sanded paper using some 2,000 shades of pastels. She owns an easel made in 1882 that belonged to Charles Woodbury, founder of the Ogunquit Art Colony, though she doesn't use it for painting her seascapes.
