Readers are updated on the status of repairs on the Bath Iron Works built destroyer, the USS Zumwalt; Grammy Award nominees Drew Taggart and Alex Pall (the DJ Duo) and music mastering engineer Bob Ludwig; the sale of Rufus Deering Lumberyard to Reger Dasco Properties; Gary Lawless, winner of the Maine Humanities Council Constance H. Carlson Public Humanities Prize; and the Maine State Building, built entirely by Maine products by local craftsmen and was a part of the 1893 Colombian Exposition in Chicago and is now located in Maine.
