Abstract
Co-owner Michelle Thresher of Portland Schooner Company, is proud to have the 1931 schooner Timberwind formerly known as the Portland Pilot back in Portland Harbor. The ship provided coastline defense and its captains served as pilots during World War II. Until recently, it served as a passenger schooner Downeast, but after a restoration it's back in Portland.
