Abstract

Inspired by the road trips of yesteryear, this simulated tour through the state features a sampling of Maine campgrounds and motor courts which embrace their vintage roots, including Kittery Inn and Suites, the Maine Idyll Motor Court, and the Ocean Spray Cottages. The author notes the renewed appeal of the classic road trip in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
