With a description and brief history of many of the vessels, including the U.S. Coast Guard ship Eagle, which was once a Nazi training vessel before it was confiscated by the Allies; the junk-rigged schooner Larinda, which sails from Boston; the topsail schooner California, which is the only West Coast vessel calling on Portland this summer; and others.
