Abstract
In southern Maine there are six museum homes preserved as historic properties by the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA). Properties profiled are: the Sarah Orne Jewett House in South Berwick, the Hamilton House in South Berwick, the Sayward-Wheeler House in York Harbor, the Marrett House in Standish, the Nickels-Sortwell House in Wiscasset and Castle Tucker, also in Wiscasset.
