"Pandora's Rocks." Excerpt from "The Lost Voyage of John Cabot," by Henry Garfield of Belfast, to be published by Simon & Schuster in July 2004. This passage relates the accidental discovery of Penobscot Bay and the Maine Coast as told by Cabot's 14-year-old son Sancio during Cabot's ill-fated 1498 voyage.
