Abstract
Profile of Portland-born actress Victoria Rowell, star of "The Young and the Restless," who also appeared on television's "Diagnosis Murder." Born in Portland and raised on a farm in West Lebanon with her foster mother, Agatha Armstead, Rowell is a dancer, model and actress as well as the founder of the Rowell Foster Children's Positive Plan, a charity that sponsors foster youth in the fine arts, athletics and academics. Rowell credits her success to Armstead's influence in getting her involved in the arts and teaching her fundamental survival skills. Rowell also appeared in the film "Dumb & Dumber," and has two new releases due out this summer. With an interview in question-and-answer format mentioning the Portland School of Ballet.
