Abstract

"chowder" piece on the massive, 151,000-ton "Queen Mary 2," cruise ship which visited Portland this fall. Jeff Monroe, Portland's director of ports and transportation, said 30 cruise ships stopped in Portland this year, bringing 43,528 passengers. Twenty-seven cruise ships are already expected next year.
