A look at various fall and winter holidays celebrated by Portland-area residents, including Ken Levinsky and his family, who celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah; Mohamed Abdalla and Foss Ali, who celebrate the Muslim holiday of Eid; Christina San of Falmouth, who celebrates the Chinese New Year; Willie Nelson of Biddeford, who travels to New York to celebrate the African holiday of Kwanzaa; Erlinda Alvarez, who comes from El Salvador and celebrates Christmas in that tradition; and Michael Ta and Cindy Le, who celebrate Christmas with turkey or Vietnamese food.
