Abstract

An article on former Lawrence High School and University of Maine basketball star, Cindy Blodgett, who smashed all of UMaine's records from 1995-1998. The most recent team she played for was the Springfield (Mass.) Spirit, after cutting short a contract with a team in France, where she felt isolated. The Spirit has gone under, and Blodgett is now taking courses in massage therapy and hoping to coach for a Division I team in the Boston area.
