Abstract
"threads" piece on Portland's Rogue Gallery, owned by designer Alex Carleton, whose T-shirts are worn in Japan, France, and New York City. He re-dyes used T-shirts and silkscreens them with images from his collection of antique books and maps. Bono of the band U2 wore one of the shirts on a world tour. Now that his shirts have become popular, they are made from new T-shirts made to look old.
