Abstract
Vacationers from Quebec have a tradition of heading to Old Orchard Beach in the summer. Canadians are drawn by the long beach and the large Franco-American population in Biddeford and Saco. Some have been coming for generations. Recently there have been concerns that Old Orchard Beach will become less affordable as it becomes more upscale, and some vacationers have quit coming because of opposition to U.S. foreign policy.
