Abstract
"house of the month" piece on a Park Street town house nicknamed Red Door that has undergone 17,000 man hours of restoration by Papi & Romano over 15 months. It is being listed for a Portland peninsula record of $2.25 million. The 1835-era Park Street Row echoes brick Beacon Hill homes in Boston. Sarah Scribner Coughlin and Michael Coughlin have listed 102 Park Street for sale through agent John Golden of Anne Erwin Real Estate, the Sotheby's affiliate. The home was completely gutted and historic details conjured up from what was formerly a series of dark, chopped-up apartments. At one time, the house was home to a rope factory.
