Abstract
"Chowder" piece on the newly opened Rufus Porter Museum and Cultural Heritage Center in Bridgton. Porter (1792-1884), a muralist and inventor from Bridgton, designed an 800-foot airship that traveled from New York to California in three days during the 19th century.
