Two hearing examiners who advise the Public Utilities Commission are urging that body to reject a Central Maine Power Co. proposal to offer discounts to high-use electricity customers. The two advisers said in a report issued last week that permitting such discounts would likely cause large increases in the bills paid by low-use customers. Details.
