Abstract

A brief account of the fourth annual Hempstock festival, which was sponsored by the Maine Vocals, an organization that is working for the legalization of marijuana. The Maine Vocals had 150 people at the festival working to gather signatures on a petition calling for legalization. Fifty-two thousand signatures are needed to put the issue before the Legislature. An estimated 15,000 people attended the festival on Saturday, and 7,000 attended on Sunday.
