Abstract

The Portland Pirates hockey team this season will have Annette Woodbury, 24, of Gray, sing the last three lines of Roy Orbison's "It's Over" whenever the team is close to winning a game. The public relations gimmick, a take on the adage about it not being over until the fat lady sings, is designed to stir up the crowd and poke fun at the opposing team.
