Abstract

A proposal to replace the Department of Human Services and the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation and with two new agencies should be cleared by the Legislature and forwarded to Gov. McKernan soon. Under the reorganization, children's services would be put under one department and health services under another. Details.
