Abstract

An economic forecast based on a computerized model which analyzes economic and population trends and business costs predicts that Cumberland County will experience slow growth over the next dozen years, yet outperform the rest of the state. The federal government and the University of Maine System funded development of the model, which is designed to provide a general sense of the region's long-term economic direction. Details.
