Abstract

A federal jury in Portland rejected a claim by Gloria Brown, 49, of Woolwich, who was paralyzed in 1987 when the Subaru XT Coupe in which she was riding hit a moose. Brown sued Subaru for $5 million, claiming the roof design of the vehicle was defective.
