Abstract

The Cape Elizabeth Town Center Planning Committee has put forth a plan that would reduce the setback of new buildings, require parking to the side and rear of new buildings, build sidewalks and add lighting to make pedestrians more comfortable in Cape Elizabeth's traditional downtown. The 134-acre area considered the downtown includes the town's school campus, municipal buildings and the Pond Cove Shopping Center.
