Abstract

The city of South Portland will be starting some major sewer work shortly at Waterman Drive and Broadway, but new technology will allow the work to proceed with minimal disruptions to traffic. Insituform, the company performing the work, will be using "trenchless technology," a method which involves inserting a new liner in existing pipelines without tearing up the road surface. Details.
