"Maine Journal." In Millinocket, the takeover of the Great Northern Paper Company has left full-time employees rich from the company's stock sale but the town itself on tenterhooks, with no firm plans for the future of its economic base. Great Northern built the town in 1899. Details; 1900s logging poem.
