Abstract

"Maine Journal." Emily Kinney, who was illiterate when she entered Noble High School's Adult & Community Education program in North Berwick in 1986, graduated last June and was a graduation speaker. She is the first person in her family to graduate high school, although her son followed her example and went back to school. Related story in Dec. 1988 Salt.
