Abstract
As the $7.3 million renovation of the Portland Public Library winds down, the main branch will be closed February 28 through April 5, with no effect on the other branches. For the past ten months, public library operations have been confined to the first floor as construction crews worked upstairs, with about 90 percent of library stacks stored at an offsite "annex." With details on the renovation and plans for additional changes.
