Beginning in April, Mainers will be able to purchase tomatos that have been genetically altered. Monsanto Corp. would like to be able to market a potato that has been genetically engineered to fight off the Colorado potato beetle. Although the tomato will be labeled as having been genetically altered, the potato might not be labeled, and some people are concerned about that. Details.
