Abstract

Rory McCarthy, 40, of West Bath, and six other cyclists are on a 13,000-mile ride around the world. Six of the cyclists, including McCarthy, are disabled, and several of them are using well-engineered hand-powered bikes. The trek is expected to end in Washington, D.C., in November.
